Firstly I would just like to say that this place is absolutely outstanding! It was my first visit to the new stadium and its absolutely mind blowing!
Anyway, enough of that. The first game to ever kick-off on the new pitch was the SA Legends 10’s vs the International Legends 10’s. SA boys dominated the day scoring 25 points to 5. The guys weren’t really holding back either!
After that the Stormers kicked off against Boland. It took a while to get rolling but eventually the boys won 47-3 in the final warm-up game, heading into the new season. Now it’s GAME week with the Super 14 starting this weekend!
